Kmart double coupon event. . .

. . .just got back, and I was very much unimpressed. I don't go to Kmart often, so I didn't realize how expensive they were. I was disappointed, too, because I was told I was only allowed to use 5 coupons total for my whole trip. I got a bag of pretzel M&Ms, 3 TicTacs, and the free hand sanitizer. I used (1) $1 off pretzel M&Ms, (3) $0.75 off TicTacs, and the free hand sanitizer coupon that can be found in the booklet of coupons at the customer service desk.

The Kmart double event (for select locations) ends tomorrow, so head over there today or tomorrow if you want to check it out. Be careful when you're planning your deals; a lot of bloggers are stating that $1 off coupons will double, but they WON'T. It's up to $0.99. That means the coupon's value must be $0.99 or below. A dollar is not the same as $0.99 to the register, even though to us they are.
