Here's my shopping trip from today. I'll let you be the judge!

Store #1: CVS


First transaction:
2 Softsoap Pampered Hands ($2 each or $4 total)
1 Softsoap body wash ($3)
1 bottle Renu contact lens solution ($7.89)

Total out of pocket: $1.57

So, overall, I spent $4.22 out of pocket. I started with a total of $10 ECB in my stash. I ended up with $19 ECB. My total savings was $52.16.

2 Scunci (one was a bonus pack!) (2/$3)
3 Penway small notebooks ($0.19 each with in-ad coupon - a total of $0.57)

Total: $3.91 Saved: $5.38, received $3 RR

Store #3: Jewel

Transaction:
3 Creamette pasta (3/$3)
2 Heluva Good dip (2/$3)
1 bag carrots ($0.88)
1 gallon milk ($4.29)

Total: $11.17

Store #4:
I went to a very small local grocer to grab some meat and veggies - I paid $9.04 for 2.5 lbs of ground pork, a bag of Tostitos, and a slew of veggies.

Overall:

For the whole trip, I spent $19.08 out of pocket. I saved a total of $71.46, and ended up with extra ECBs and RRs for next time. You tell me - is couponing worth it???? :)
